Terms for sending a photo

Short and in plain words. By sending a photo you agree to all of this.

  1. Your photo goes on a public screen

    It shows on the venue's screens, where anyone in the venue can see it, for up to 3 hours. It comes off the screen automatically after that.

  2. It cannot be deleted once sent

    There is no undo. Photos are kept by PluginOS after they leave the screen, for safety review and to improve the service. If a photo must come down early, ask the venue's staff.

  3. Everyone in the photo agrees

    Only send a photo if everyone in it is happy to be shown on the venue's screens. Do not send photos of people who have not agreed, or of anyone under 18.

  4. Keep it suitable for a public screen

    No nudity, sexual content, violence, hate, harassment, or anything illegal. Every photo is checked automatically before it shows, and venue staff can take a photo down at any time. Photos that fail the check are kept for review and never shown.

  5. You are responsible for what you send

    You are responsible for every photo you send and for having the permission of everyone in it. PluginOS and the venue may remove any photo, and may refuse further photos from a device that breaks these terms.

  6. You own it, we may show it

    You keep the rights to your photo. You give PluginOS and the venue permission to display it on the venue's screens, store it, and use it to keep the service safe.

  7. Fair use of the booth

    Each venue has a limited number of photo slots and a limit on how often one person can send. Trying to get around these limits may get your photos removed.

  8. No accounts, no payments

    Nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay. We do not collect your name or contact details. Your device is given an anonymous id so the booth can apply the limits above.
